Car broke down, so made use of this pub, while waiting for recovery.

The manageress on the day (13thNov 12:30pm) was friendly and professional.

Spacious and lots of seating, looks like a nice place for lunch and drinks.

We had a brilliant experience at The Garden Bar. Firstly it was very close to the bus stop and I was lured by the lovely lighting. The cocktail menu was extensive and we tried the Honey Margarita and Tiramisu Martini - divine!
We sampled a variety of dishes including the baked Camembert, the Frickles (fried pickles - amazing), cauliflower bites and halloumi strips.
The staff were attentive and friendly and obviously take pride in their roles.
Absolutely loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor areas are well-landscaped and immaculate.
There was a "Clayful Hands" Pottery Lounge painting event on at the time and it looked like a wonderful way to spend an evening. It definitely made for a memorable evening and I wish I had local pub like The Garden Bar back home in Australia.

We travelled down to Brighton to visit our friend Daniel and his guide ? dog Quasia ( who my wife and I trained from a puppy). Daniel had booked a table. The food was absolutely superb and the staff were very good. Very well priced and a very good amount of food. Highly recommend the Garden bar.

I hosted my charity event at the garden bar on the 15th April and I have to say, it was the best decision I made.
I was meant to of had it on the 6th may but then the kings coronation was announced. Annamarie and Lisa contacted me and helped me find a different date.
The communication they had with me over the months leading up to the event was more than I expected and this made me feel more positive about how the charity event would turn out.
On the day of the event, the staff on duty were so hard working and went above and beyond my expectations. Having great staff like this, really makes a difference on someone’s experience.
I had also ordered different canapé’s for the beginning of my event and once again I was more than impressed. The food throughout the day was so lovely and I heard so many others say the same thing.
A lot of people had come to me, to congratulate me on my hard work but I honestly don’t think it would have been as successful as it was if I didn’t pick the perfect venue so thank you to everyone at the garden bar. You’ve left such a great impression on me.

We had our wedding reception here just a few days ago and we were over the moon with everything the team put together for us. From first enquiry to last orders the experience help and support has been outstanding. The help to decorate the gardens and venue, the amazing vegan food that all our guests said was the best wedding food they had ever had, and the attentive service from the whole team through the day. Honestly we were overwhelmed with just how this lovely pub was transformed to a beautiful wedding venue - we could not recommend The Garden Bar more highly if you want to have simply the most fabulous place to host a wedding or party. Thanks to everyone there for making our most memorable day so special x

Went for a Sunday Roast. Overpriced for what it was. Bit of a cheek putting hardly any gravy on the dinner then charging £1 for more !!!

Seem to be more about presentation than actual food and would not go again.

Also charging over £9 for a ginger ale and a non alcohol beer is a rip off.

Thank you so much Garden Bar for making our party to celebrate four family birthdays so special.

The organisation was easy thanks to Annamari, the food was delicious and the venue worked perfectly....we had the West bar and garden which gave plenty of space to sit and chat, eat and a (very busy!) dance floor. We added some of our own table decorations and balloons but the pub itself is very pretty and party-ready.

And finally the bar staff (can't name you all but Taru and Kyle are a on the night were exceptional, so friendly, helpful and relaxed. Thank you all VERY much!!

We had our wedding reception here! It was amazing. The staff were attentive and were very helpful during the planning process!
I was amazed how it all came together and it is a day I will not forget!
Thank you to Annamari, Tom, Leon, Taru, Lewis, Jack! I can't mention you all but you are all amazing and thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me and James a great day!
I highly recommend the garden bar if you need a place to throw a killer party! You will not regret it ?
